Scope and Contents
Bank of Thailand one baht note, Series 9. Serial number T/461 283340. Obverse shows King Bhumibol Adulyadej in military uniform with a temple and chedi at center; reverse shows the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall. Printed by Thomas De La Rue and Company Limited, London. Thailand hosted major United States air bases during the Vietnam War and was a primary rest and recuperation destination.
